Key Staff

Tricia Nucatola

Tricia Nucatola, President of CNS, has over 20 years of experience in the New York City construction industry, specializing in construction management, permitting, QA/QC, risk management, and special inspections. She is actively involved in daily operations and serves as both a technical resource and program manager for CNS’s projects.

Ms. Nucatola has managed special inspection programs throughout the greater NYC metro area and plays a key role in ensuring proper staffing and resources are committed to each assignment. She is currently registering CNS as a certified Women’s Owned Business with NYC and NYS. Under her leadership, CNS continues to expand as a trusted Special Inspections Agency, with experience on major projects including Rockefeller Plaza, Hudson Yards, and the World Trade Center.

John Nucatola

PE, CCM, MSI, CWI

John Nucatola, Principal Technical Officer of CNS, has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, working with developers, contractors, construction managers, consultants, and special inspection agencies. He is an ICC-recognized Master of Special Inspection and holds more than 40 certifications in construction installation, inspection, testing, safety and energy auditing.

Mr. Nucatola has been involved in Special Inspections since the program’s inception under the 2004 NYC Building Code revision and has performed inspections on both private and public projects, including NYCDEP Wastewater Treatment Plants. He holds certifications in all Special Inspection disciplines and remains actively involved in on-site overseeing inspections. As a member of the NYC Department of Buildings Special Inspections Advisory Committee, he continues to help shape the future of Special Inspections in New York City.
